Here's how it works: Make your selections using the drop-down menus above.

    1. Enter English name

Most families choose to use the full name, but this can be anything you want. If a nickname or a line like "Rachel's Bat Mitzvah" is more appropriate, feel free to fill that in instead.

    2. Enter Hebrew name

It is very easy for us to translate this to Hebrew, so just use the English translation here. You can also scan the name from an invitation or some other document, if you do not read Hebrew. Whatever your situation, we'll help you figure it out.

If you don't know the Hebrew name, or prefer to leave it out, just leave that box blank. It does not have to be included.

    3. Enter Date

We will use both the English date and the equivalent date from the Hebrew calendar. There's no need to fill in the Hebrew date. We'll look that up for you.

    4. Enter Torah Portion

The very best way to ensure that your album features the correct Torah portion is for you to tell us exactly which lines will be read. We recommend checking with your Rabbi, Cantor, or Hebrew instructor if you don't know.

The easiest way for you to communicate this to us is to specify the Parasha, book, chapter, and verses, in this format: (Parasha Bereshit: Genesis 1:1 - 2:3)

If the information you have is less specific, just let us know as much as you can, and we'll work with you to determine what text will be printed.

If you have no idea what text will be read, we recommend using the standard reading for the date, which we can determine using a Hebrew calendar.

Please bear in mind that some Torah readings are several pages long, and cannot fit on the cover of the album. Physically, we have about 8 inches from top to bottom to print the design. If your reading is longer, we may need to cut the text to fit.

    5. Add the Torah Scroll book to your cart and complete your order.

    6. We'll prepare a set of digital proofs

Within a few days, you will receive an email with a set of proofs. These will include the Hebrew text for the front cover, the English translation for the inside, and the personalized Nameplate.

We want to ensure that all information used in the book's design is correct, so we'll ask for your approval before completing the final assembly of the book.

    7. We'll create your album and deliver it within a few days after approval.

A few notes regarding the design process:

The example that you see above will not be identical to your actual book. Each book is a unique work of art, collaged with torn strips of handmade paper. Although we will keep within the general color scheme you see, the papers we use for your book will vary.

Additionally, because each Torah portion is different in length and layout, the proportions will vary depending on how your specific Hebrew reading is formatted.

It is impossible to prepare an exact mockup of how your book will look, because the process used to make the book is organic and spontaneous.

Our artists are committed to creating a design that is harmonious, well-proportioned, and in keeping with the heirloom quality and craftsmanship you expect.

All of the papers we use in the collage are gathered from an extensive collection, including thousands of different paper colors and textures. Trust us to use our best judgment when crafting your book, and rest assured that if something about the collage disappoints you, we will work with you to find a solution.

Please check all of your details carefully, and review all proofs before sending your approval. Because this item is custom-made to order for you, it is not returnable.

This item usually ships in 5-7 business days.
However, we are eager to meet your deadline and can often rush production if you request it.

If you need this item by a certain date, please contact us to verify that it can be done. There is a box on the checkout form specifically for you to tell us about any deadline you may have. And a phone call before ordering isn't a bad idea. We're here to talk to you.

Standard Shipping takes 3-7 days AFTER your order is shipped. Please review the time-in-transit map below to determine your estimated arrival time by UPS ground shipping.

Expedited shipping options are shown during checkout. If you select 2-Day or 1-Day day shipping, we will expedite production on your order, and we will ship by the method you choose once the order is complete.

We bend over backwards to ensure your order will be processed quickly, and if there is any problem that might delay shipment, we will notify you as quickly as possible.
