The leather cover has a tactile feel, soft sided triple-fold design with handsome wraparound strap to protect pages. This centuries-old binding features exposed stitching on the spine, which allows the book to lay flat for ease of use, and also allows room for the journal to expand, should you want to affix mementos or photos to the pages.

The pages are handmade fabric like ultra-thick paper from the Amalfi coast, with deckled edges for sensual appeal. The paper is a heavyweight 36lb acid-free & archival writing stock with heavy watercolor texture, exquisite artisan watermarks on each page, and a smooth, soft finish that is a joy to write on.
