The Max Latch refillable leather journal is handmade in Italy. A thick leather cover wraps around a refillable insert with smooth ivory unlined pages. Lined refills are sold separately. The refill is held in place by pockets stitched to the inside front and back.

The leather is heavyweight, supple calfskin vegetable-tanned to a rich chestnut tone.

Personalize your journal by adding an embossed name or phrase for only $12.00 per line. You can personalize your book with BLIND embossing on one or two lines, up to 20 characters and spaces each. To choose this option, fill in your personalization information above.

The flap on the front of this journal limits space for embossing. The Max Latch journal looks best with shorter embossings such as a single name or initials.

Blind embossing uses heat to "brand" the letters into the leather. It is a subtle look where the letters are pressed into the leather. Your inscription will be pressed in and darker than the surrounding leather.
