Window Frames are designed to offer a natural setting for your photographs without the use of plastic or adhesives. Follow these steps to insert your photograph inside the mount. Although the Window Frames system is a relatively easy process, care and patience will ensure the integrity and reuse of the window frames page.
Always work with the page removed from the album.
With the tabs toward you, slide the photo's edge under the frame's lip and then work the photo under one tab.
Be sure to work the side edge under the tab; the side is stronger and will insert more easily than a corner.
Keep the photo parallel to the page. Flex it slightly and work the other side of the photo under the opposite side's lip and tab.
Slide the print up as far as it will go, carefully inserting the picture under the lip at the top of the mat.
Push with your fingertips on the face of the photo. Fingerprints can be easily wiped off once the photo is in place. Once the photo is under the top lip, gently slide it down until it is just slightly under the bottom lip.
Repeat with other openings on the mat page, until all the openings are filled.
To finish, press down the tabs so they are flush with the mat. Use a soft cotton cloth to wipe away any fingerprints.
Window Frames will allow up to 1/16" deviation from the standard 3 1/2" x 5", 4" x 6", 5" x 7" or 8" x 10" print sizes. Come as close as possible to these measurements when cropping larger photographs. Please keep in mind that a maximum of 18 pages per book are recommended. The more pages you have in your album, the greater degree of care required in its handling.
