This latest release has been crafted to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Manyo ink collection. This series stands out not only for its design and quality but also because it is not available in Japan, making it a truly unique offering for North American consumers.
Each pen in this limited-edition series is a work of art, featuring exquisite foil embossing on the top finial, rendered in a stunning rainbow foil. The fountain pen is sold as a set that includes a matching 50ml bottle of Sailor Manyo ink, as well as a cartridge converter.
Bamboo Shoot: This pen captures the fresh, natural light green tones of a young bamboo shoot, symbolizing growth and vitality. It is paired with Manyo Ink Nagi, a gentle blue-green ink inspired by a grass that grows in paddy fields, producing small blue-purple flowers in late summer.
Sailor's Pro Gear Slim fountain pen is a comfortable mid-sized pen, small enough to fit in a pocket but long enough for comfortable everyday use. It's got a classic shape with a flat-top cap and a round barrel and grip. Sailor makes their gold nibs in-house, and they're known for being exceptionally precise, with a unique feedback sensation. (Note that Sailor nibs run on the fine side, like other Japanese fountain pen nibs.)
