Sailor's Manyo bottled ink series is inspired by the variety of flowers mentioned in the ancient Japanese Manyoshu poems. Manyo inks are dual-shading, meaning the colors shift in areas of heavier coverage, giving a watercolor effect.

Takenoko: Bamboo shoots. A fresh green ink reminiscent of vibrant bamboo shoots, which were a staple food and a symbol of renewal. This ink performs best with a high-quality paper to achieve its full potential.
